Supporting Students Who Have Experienced Trauma

She argues that all schools must be designed to provide the physical and emotional safety necessary for students to develop key learning skills and mindsets. The intentional design of schools, classrooms, and learning experiences to support children who have endured adverse experiences can help them to recover from the effects of trauma and achieve their full potential as learners and human beings.
